Even our great-great-grandmothers and great-great-grandfathers used to communicate with babies with the help of short rhymes, which got the name of toys. All customs that have survived the centuries carry extraordinary benefits, even if they are not immediately obvious. It is unreasonable to leave the treasures preserved for us by many generations of our grandmothers unused.

To entertain a child, to play with him, means to interact as equals, as friends do. This form of communication is significantly different from other interactions related to providing the baby with healthy food, a safe living space, warmth, clothing and satisfaction of the rest of his daily needs.
