I have dreamed of such a book for a long time, and I asked the artists, especially Andrii Poturail, that the illustrations for it resemble the Ukrainian Christmas Paradise (as in the Christmas carol "Now Christmas..."), where everyone is finally at home and everyone carols for each other, where there is light everywhere and cozy, and smoke curls from the chimneys, connecting heaven and earth and transforming into angels of Christmas coziness (as in the poem "The sky is covered with clear stars"). I will be happy when this book prompts someone to learn at least two or three carols in order to sing them with friends and feel a hitherto unknown pleasure... Just in case, I will remind you that they carol at Christmas, but they are generous at the Old New Year. After all, the Christmas cycle runs from Holy Evening all the way to the Jordan. So, let's carol with inspiration, let's give generously - to the joy of good people and ourselves! Let our incredible Christmas carols resound everywhere—in every city, in every village, in every home—all over Ukraine, all over the world where there are Ukrainians, because I believe that our joint caroling is capable of creating a special spiritual unity and eradicating all filth."
