Let's return our own history to the country!
Historian Volodymyr Vyatrovych collected a number of his own publications — from the early 2000s to our time — and supplemented them with a modern narrative. These are articles, columns, interviews that deal with national identity, the Holodomor, the liberation struggle and "people of will", the Orange Revolution and Euromaidan, materials labeled "top secret", which one day became "top secret". The author carefully researched a significant part of this story, and helped to create another part.
That is why this is a book about the past — the author's, Ukrainians', the past in general, about history as history and story, about collective and personal.
WHY SHOULD YOU BUY THIS BOOK?
This book is not about rewriting history. It is about the attempts of Ukrainians to write the history of their own state. Free yourself from the captivity of the thoughts of the "elder brother" and achieve true independence - when you can tell your story in the first person. As the history of Ukraine, not Russia, Poland or anyone else on our land.
